An Agriculture Fair has been organized in Phonsavan from 29 October to 2 November. Several activities have been presented: 1. Animal raising, sale and exhibition - Improved pig sty (breeders, foodstuff and pig sty, daily demonstration of pig sty building)
- Animal fair/sale: cattle, pig, goat and sheep
- Animal contest/exhibition
2. Production means for agriculture - Agriculture equipments (SCV, hand-tractor, thresher, pump…)
- Animal foodstuff and animal care
- Seeds: horticulture, rice, maize, legumes, forage…
- Fertilizers: mineral and organic
3. Agro biodiversity - Local foods & dishes
- Art contest on Agrobiodiversity
- Local products: rice, tea, fruits, coffee, NTFPs
4. Handicraft - Local products: umbrella, craved wood, silk and weaving
5. Agro-industrial processing 6. Projects, Agriculture schools & universities, international institutions - Place to display information on current activities and practical outputs
7. Cultural animations / events - Dance and traditional songs
